I'm relatively new to investing, so I wanted some insight into some of the terms and strategies of the process. This book gives a lot of great advice on how to pick out the right stocks to buy.

Praise for Pick Stocks That Go Up
I have read a ton of investment books from the local library and buying off of Amazon. A lot of books go over the same strategies or fill the book with empty words just to make the book longer. Not this book and not this author... You've made me rethink some of my stocks

There are lots books out there on investing, but this one particularly changes the way you think about investing. Let me explain. A lot of people say that you should buy stocks based on p/e ratios and earnings per share. But the author points out that earnings doesn't really tell you how much money a company makes. Cash flow does. So you should make all investment decisions based on how much hard cash the business makes. Not earnings, but cash flow. This alone changed my perspective on investing

I’ve always found the stock market intimidating, but this book broke it down in a way that finally made it click

When two of my brothers started making a lot of money on the stock market from the comfort of their homes, it was time to start paying attention. Unlike me, they had taken the time to study the financial world for some time, talking to economists, reading books on investing, and even watching shows about stocks like Jim Cramer's. I don't have any experience in these matters, nor do I have any knowledge whatsoever of the stock market, money markets, bonds, etc. But I definitely liked the idea of making my money make money. This book is exactly what I needed! I ran this past my brothers, both of whom assured me it was the best thing I could have while starting out. It is written so that even novices like me can understand it, and I found it stuffed with great information and very entertaining. Who knew the stock market could be an entertaining subject? I look forward to using this book to make money and even have a good time doing it. Good job!

This book does a good job of breaking down how to pick stocks without getting lost in confusing financial jargon. The author shares personal experiences and strategies inspired by top investors, making it easy to follow. While the advice is helpful, it sometimes feels a bit oversimplified for more experienced readers. If you're just starting out and want a straightforward approach to investing, this book is a solid choice!

I have been curious about investing for a while, but I didn’t know where to start. This book was just what I needed! It explained how to choose the right stocks in a way that was easy to understand. The steps were clear, and the examples helped me feel more confident about trying investing myself.

I have now been investing in stocks over to 50 years, and have been rather successful (current net worth mostly due to stocks is over $5M). I thought i had it down pat, and was ready to pan this book and call it a sham. NOPE. It completely changed the way I evaluate stocks to buy. This is too new for me to guarantee it will work for me, but I expect this book to be my go-to source for company analysis for at least the next decade.

Of the dozen or so books that I've recently purchased about investing/stocks, 'Buffet's 2-Step Stock Market Strategy' by Danial Jiwani has been one of my two favorite books about this topic. Thank you, Danial, for having written this book!
